I am Maria Roszyk.
I work as an artist:
I attempt to capture invisible, inexpressible (when writing) and uncomputable (when hacking).
This is what drives me in art and I practice it on regular basis.
I believe the truth exists and it is in the world. However, it is spread all around it and among all the people. That’s why I travel often and practice encountering daily. I’d rather capture than invent. I’m creative in relation to others which means thinking about other people feeds my creative process. I love to organise things for others and sometimes to play roles.
I try to live up to what this world has for me to say. In my artistic practice I play with the moments at hand and/or given and found materials. It is often more about living life than making art.
I was born in Poznań, Poland and my family is based there.
